WonderCon 2012 moving to Anaheim??
That's the word on the street, according to Chuck from Mile High Comics.

You're volunteering his services, Rob? lol I forgot he was from there.
Well I was hoping to do it in tandem with Wondercon but it looks like they're moving it to Anaheim according to that website.

I wouldn't put too much weight on this. First of all it's second hand info, second of all WC is owned by SDCC, and this is one of their negotiation tactics as has been shown in the past. I hear they're going to need to do some remodeling to Moscone Center so... Although I will say, I don't know how much leverage WC has, it's no Comic Con. If anything, I think the MacWorld expo is what's more important to the people there. We'll see what happens. On the one hand it's way closer to me, on the other, I have enjoyed going up to SF for WC.

Yeah from what I've heard, they've tried this tactic when they threatened to move SDCC out of SD if the city didnt help them in some way. We'll see.

I dont think this is a tactic, the san fran convention center really is going to be having renovation during that time. I would go if it was in anaheim, and could make a family trip out of it.

That is correct that Moscone Center will be under reservation. This move to Anaheim is suppose to be just for one year. If it's in Anaheim this year, I do not plan on attending. I hope it stays some where in the Bay Area.
