I saw Gem on youtube say he is getting a replacement as his came in damaged.

Wonder how hard it is for regular folk to get a replacement.

It’ll also depend on who you purchased it from.

Some retailers if they aren’t able to provide a replacement will probably take the loss and give you a full refund upon return of the piece.

When ever I have a paint defect on a Queen piece they supposedly tell my retailers to ask me to have it sent to a painter to get it fixed and they’ll reimburse the cost. Which I can never be bothered to do, which is what they’re probably banking on.

Just unboxed mine. Aside from some sloppy glue job on the jaw, there wasn't a major need to complain. They could have put a little bit more finesse in that area but at least it's not broke/cracked/chipped so I consider it a win. Also, just want to echo how amazing this bust is.

so, I don't know if I missed it or if it just formed after the fact, but now I have found a small crack on each of the mouth where many others have had issues

I’m thinking you probably just missed it when you originally unboxed it.

Many people who unbox their pieces think that it’s come out near perfect, and might not even know of any issues unless it’s brought to their attention by another collector. Like when people post close ups on social media, it can be picked apart.

I personally go over my pieces up close with a torchlight, as it really helps in exposing any and all issues with the casting and paint application.

it's possible, only God knows, if he cared enough to watch me unbox it anyways lol. But yea, pretty disappointed. Mine isn't as noticeable as Gem Mints for example, but for $2k, definitely not alright. If I'm even given an opportunity to send it back for refund, that is probably how it will go. Major bummer.

It’s been almost seven weeks since you received yours, so you’re going to need to be awfully lucky to be offered a full refund. Fingers crossed if that’s what you truly want.

I can’t remember the last time I received a piece that didn’t have some sort of issue, tiny or not.
