From what I can gather ( short interview), it seems to have originally just been a nod to Ben Ang's Xenomorph Collectables store.

I would be interested in that too, because he seemed to be a great person and he was a perfect fit for the company.
I think Alex is doing a very good job too and he is a perfect fit with XM too. Everyone in XM seems be good people.
