IMO, the sculpt on this is amazing! Top notch. And I would have purchased this statue except...
1) I wish one of the headsculpts was more traditional.
2) The paint color choices on this are ALL OVER THE PLACE. You have grays, golds, blacks, browns, blues (especially on the cape), greens, reds. To me, it just looks jumbled.
I'm sure some folks won't mind the color choices though so congrats if you like it.

have to agree with all of this especially the paint color choices. the red highlights ALL OVEr bother me

To me, the application of the paint does look really well done. Again, my only issue is related to the color choices. Just personal preference I guess. While I won't be getting this, it is a unique statue (and like I said previously, I think the sculpt is amazing).

I think there's a bit too much red in it but other than that it's really, really nice.
I like that they ended up giving the 2 different signal light choices as well. This is definitely a statue that you'd want front and center as it's really a centerpiece for showing immaculate paint/attention to detail.

Yeah, I’m the opposite lol.
The more samurai these look, the better to me. I have Samurai Batman and I only use the full samurai helmet. And from the waist down both Samurai and Shugo aren’t samurai enough for me. Below the waist they’re more like “cyber ninja” if that makes any sense. I need the baggy pants and leg armor. That’s why I love Shogun on Horse. But like many XM pieces, I wasn’t paying attention when it was available for PO and by the time I tried to buy it, it was already sold out everywhere.
I like the colors. The colors aren’t a very Batman thing, but they are a very Shogun thing. I think this is a pass for me but I’d display it with the red bat symbol.
