I was so excited when this was announced originally but this is not a great pose IMO. If it were just Spider-woman then yes but it looks like some kind of strange sex position to me. There were better sketches proposed so this make this doubly disappointing.

I have a hunch that they chose this one precisely because there's a vague suggestion of sex.
Kinda sad, cuz I agree that there were more dynamic sketches...
And I agree too that if it was just Spider-Woman, it wouldn't look so awkward...

The good thing is there's always Photoshop...
