Help with newb casting

Hi, i just bought a model kit, and i wanted to duplicate it multiple times, for variations, and just in case i mess up the paint job( this is my first time). I was wondering if anybody had any tips for me like what type of rtv product i should buy and what type of resin i should use. Would i have to do a two part mold or would it be possible to shimmy an arm through a small hole in rtv for a single mold? The pieces are the legs, the torso, two heads, the sword, three arms which attach to the torso where the blue and yellow meet, the shoulders are on the torso already. The fingers on the arm that has the blade are curled over, but thos fingers are seperate from the hand. ANy info would be helpfull. BTW, the statue is either 12 or 13 inches tall.

My suggestion is that rather than recast the piece which is generally frowned upon, that you just get some really good paint stripper as it is definitely cheaper than any Silicone/ Molding and casting materials.

Its already a recast normally i would frown on it too, but i had to have this figure ive been looking for one of these from day one(mgs figures snake, and the ninja more than anything), and i dont want to sell them, i just want to display all variations at once other than to pay the recaster again, i didnt think what i was doing was wrong
