If it means actually getting a new character, then yes. I'm tired of repaints, rehashes and re-releases.

I agree new characters are far more preferable, but I don't think we should accept them as limited convention exclusives.

I actually agree with this, however I will say, they've done a couple variants I enjoyed enough to get. If the variant is a different character, or actually has differing features other than just the color, I can support it.

Like the She-hulks, I liked enough to get because it was Jen Walters and Betty Ross, and Super-girl V2 actually had a different face and arm plus the paint, which I really liked more. And of course there's Black Widow and Yelana Belova, which I missed out on, but still thought was a cool idea. (I missed Binary too, which I actually wanted super badly.)

The others, that are just pallet swaps, I don't particularly care for. Some just look bad, like Storm. And some just flat p1ss me off because the variant color is the one I prefer, but I've already bought the original and I will not buy ones that are just a straight up color change only. (I'm looking at you Psylocke and Spider-woman!)

But this Chun-Li (as with V1's variants as well) I'm happy to just pass on.

Repaints, re-releases. I have been collecting bishoujos for years, but I don't like this trend that Koto seems focusing on. I have sold half of my bishoujos collection. Will sell more. I think their prices are getting too high. The fact that their small Artfx pieces are now reaching$100 is ridiculous.
