now it looks like they went and changed the horns on the regular and ex head.wich bothers me cause the regular head with bones was the best.

It's just the helmet. The reg is metal bones while the EX head has bone horns. Some helmet style differences also it appears.

from the pic, it looks like 2 different helmets. Aside from the bone vs metal horns, look at the details on the top area. maybe switch out?
