Guess Oni, cause i cant stand ryu in any shape of form unless he is dead. Twins never impressed me when introduced in the 3 series.
Plus going to suck playing the Yun gauntlets online....

IMO, Oni is the asura spirit (or the bat-sh!t crazy version) of Akuma. Shin was fine enough, but Ono had to bring an over-the-top Akuma version into the game to appeal to the dragonball and naurto fans. Yun and Yang will be dealt with after EVO.

Oni is true form Demon, no longer a man.
Least thats whats the story on him so far.

Akuma started of as a man who walked the path of the Shura (Ashura). He transcended humanity wanting to become as powerful as one. The Shin part is where he is at full strength, but he does not utilize it to give the opponent a fighting chance. Now, this Oni is suppose to be Akuma's spirit, because during the fight in the manga (which Ono is clearly pulling the content for the game) Akuma punches a hole in Ryu's chest with SGS. A weaken and dieing Ryu blows Akuma's body apart with a hadoken, revealing his body had become a mere shell. Bottle line, Capcom really want to kill off Ryu, Akuma, Ken, Sagat, and Bison storyline. The five pillars who held the universe together story-wise and game-wise. Sagat is not in Third Strike why? Because he and Ryu settled their beef in the book. They brought in the new 5: Alex to take the helm. They also brought in Hugo, Gill, Urien, and Oro, hence the title"New Generations."
