I agree. Plus, the stuff at the beginning about the falsified marriage is quite complex, and there's quite a bit of social commentary in there too.

I haven't read the other books in the series, but did watch the adaptations with Billie Piper.

I've never read 'Closing Time', I'm one of those people who never get around to reading sequels.

When a book falls apart, it shows it's been loved. I recently had to buy a second copy of 'The Time Traveller's Wife', I'd lent it out to so many people the thing looked like a rag.

I find with Catch 22, there are those who love it and those that hate it, and no one in between. Any lover of literature and the English languange should love it though.

I have been dying to read The Time Traveler's Wife but it's not available for the Kindle and I have pretty much stopped buying traditional books since I've had my Kindle. I've heard great things about this book so I may break down and pick it up if it isn't "Kindled" soon.

It's absolutely ace Zurb, you won't regret reading it. I heard they are making it into a film too.

I'm reading The Wee Free Men with my oldest daughter these days. Other than that (and a few books of essays and the like--Chuck Klosterman IV right now), I can't read anything because it messes with my writing.

I always find that as I'm writing, watching an serialised TV show or reading a good book gives me some inspiration, or stops me from making a terrible mistake.
