Haha, just woke up to get ready for work and checked SF to see the banter at the thread

The cover to Batgirl #1 which is displayed at various websites is by Adam Hughes. I spoke with Ardian who said that he did not do a cover for the first issue but he has already started work on the first issue. If he starts doing covers, I'll know whom to contact

Sadly, since he's already hard at work on the first Batgirl issue, I suspect that he won't be able to devote any time to commission work for the forseeable. However, I will check with him to confirm that. Best,

Just heard from Ardian that the artwork for the first issue of Batgirl is pencils and inks (by Vicente Cifuentes) on the same page as per the traditional method.

Of course that will mean that Ardian (and Vicente) will have to wait for the art to be returned to them from DC with presumably a two-thirds to the artist and one-third to the inker split. Best,
