Optimus is a solid piece but feels like a large scale LOC piece and not a weighty monster like Soundwave-Rodimus. They've taken liberty's with design to compete with XM's line and they've been a bit misleading about PVC being used in their large scale line as I'm still waiting on that vinyl Megatron price reduction.
Soundwave is a whole other story. I'm happy if anyone got an A+ second release statue. I had to return three of them to BBTS due to massive QC issues. The factory is to blame here. All three of mine had seating issues everywhere, paint missing on parts, unpainted magnets, magnets put in backwards, cracked bases, you name it I saw it. I've documented it in the IA Soundwave thread. The kicker is I own the first release and can tell you right now even if you got a perfect statue its still flawed. It's lighter then the first release, it's hollowed out more on every part with the base being the biggest offender. The piece doesn't even weigh the same as the first release and IA is still using the first releases weight on sales pages. How would anyone know unless you own both. There's a picture up in the Weta Lara Croft thread of someone getting a base with a bunch of melted down people imbedded in the base. One of my Soundwave legs was broke in half and looked almost like that picture.
