Or they knew they were going to do this all along, Flash was one of the more obvious prime choices for a variant.

But from the pics they didn't do a "reverse flash" mirror image. It looks to be the same exact pose as the current flash statue

a missed opportunity if thats the case but will still look cool. again selfishly that will actually look better for my display but from a concept stand point, mirror pose would have been really cool displayed next to flash

That's such a shame. I believe this was a digital sculpt by Bel so they could've changed it. A change to a mirror image of the Flash PF would've been absolutely perfect. A little more effort from sideshow and this variant could've been so cool. A reverse pose for the Reverse Flash! It would've been so appropriate.

That's messed up. It's the same freakin sculpt - so you're saving money and time there - just mirror it. So lazy.
