The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Very cool! Wonder how much it'll cost.

Probably around $275, but should be nice quality. The original company that made these from the license re-made them this year and that's probably about how much Hot Toys will be.

I've always wanted to pick one of these up and will make sure I track the release and not miss out this time.

I pre-ordered the King Arts one earlier. Didn't know Hot Toys was doing this. I hope they're equal in quality.

I think the KA new version should be a lot of die cast metal where their original one wasn't? I think that's the reason for the price increase and I'm happy to hear that the newer version is higher quality. When is the KA version supposed to ship? Would love to see or hear a review about it.

Got the new KA version yesterday. Didn't come with batteries or any instructions. Anyone know what type of batteries it takes?

Are there no markings in the battery compartment? Watched an unboxing on YouTube and it shows that it comes with batteries. If I was to hazard a guess based on the videos, it looks like three LR-44 batteries. You can measure the diameter of the battery compartment and Google it.

How's the build quality, is it really impressive?

Is it mostly made of metal with some hefty weight to it?

Are you happy with it for the price of $275?

I couldn't see any markings. Yeah I saw that same video. Looks like they forgot my batteries. I had the same 3 slots in the plastic packaging and they were empty. I'll see if BBTS can do anything but if not, I will definitely try your suggestion. Thanks for your help!

Build quality is pretty solid. I did not take it apart like it says it can be. I don't trust myself putting it back together lol. I'm a tad heavy handed so I might pop off a piece that shouldn't come off. It has a lot of metal pieces and has some good weight to it. Looks movie accurate and I genuinely like it. Not happy that I didn't have the batteries though. I still have to evaluate the light up feature. Hopefully that will be impressive.
