STAR WARS Spinoff to Be Directed by Josh Trank
So perhaps this is the young Han Solo film.

ugh, if the new FF is any indication of this guys "vision" for star wars, im sure its going to Trank. I was pretty dissapointed when I read this news.

aaww damn. what the hell were they thinking?
he better not fu*k with sh!t how he did with the F4. but then again. im sure Lucas Film/ Disney will be keeping a very, VERY tight leash on what he can and CANNOT do.
although im super pissed about what he is doing with the F4. ill give him the benefit of the doubt due to LF/Disney will allow him to do.

"when asked for his reasoning why Trask said "well I really loved working with Michael on Chronicle and he had such amazing fan reaction after his casting in the Fantastic Four that I just knew the people wanted more of him, and with such an iconic character as Han Solo I just know Mike is going to give people the gritty grounded take on everybody's favorite smuggler"

lol that is so true, i'd love to see him try and pull that with Star Wars, he'd get murdered by a disgruntled fan in a storm trooper costume
