Not true. The sitting Poison Ivy PF was $700 and that piece first went up for order a year ago.

Fair point, but a year ago most PFs were still on the $600s range, like the new Psylocke or even the new Red Sonja that's still on pre-order.

Just a few months ago? The Magneto PF was $740 and that came out like 6 years ago

To be fair, we've had PFs over $600 for 5 years now. Thor: Breaker of Brimstone was $685 in January of 2019. Aquaman was $600, Colossus was $695, Silver Surfer was $630, Scarecrow was $620, Mister Freeze was $720, Bane was $660, Deadpool was $655, and there are many others.

Yes, even before that you could find PFs for $700+ but they were an exception, not the rule.
Now it feels the regular prices will be above $700 with a few likely reaching $800.

TL;DR: prices are getting out of hand very quickly (of course, not only statue prices...).

Don?t support that. Wait for a discount or let someone else have it. The after market on that statue will be $600 tops with shipping. On a good day probably get it for $550.

Statues are cool but you got to find an alternative to fill that addiction. Buying old statues at discount, modifying old statues or putting that focus somewhere else is cool.

I just bought the sandtrooper pf the other day $430 shipped.

Cool piece, but I remember not getting it because I thought I can make the same sandtrooper with the jakks pacific sandtrooper for the price of $20.

Truth is I put the jakks pacific helmet on it and like it better than the sideshow.

My point is statues are cool. We all love them, but there has to be balance too. If you don?t get it now it will be most likely around in the future cheaper, or the same character will be coming out and better. You?re really not missing out on anything. Screw their pricing. YEAH!
