Now, don't get me wrong, in my opinion, there isn't a scarier villain around than Prime, but if you really think he can beat the Silver Surfer, then you don't know much about the Surfer...

Besides the fact that he is ALSO among marvel's strongest, fastest, and indestructable, there is indeed the fact that he can rearrange ALL matter at will...
This means he can turn Prime into a little bunny if he chose to...
Not even a maxed-out Superman can beat that.

But that's just how I see things.
but Prime was able to kidnap, imprision and control Mister Mxyzptlk, so clearly the reality warpers aren't something he fears much

Surfer for the win. If he's written properly and at full power with no holding back, the SS is nearly unbeatable by non Galactus, Ego, Celestial etc... level characters.

Prime while powerful, imo doesn't have the tools to get the job done. A beating with fists isn't going to be enough to take the SS down.

Well said. Since he can't be harmed through physical means - Prime would need another way...

And since a GL split his lip during the Sinestro War, fairly certain the SS could whip him

was that before or after it took nearly the entire super-hero population of earth along with nearly the entire GL Corps and 2 other Superman's to actually take him down by flying him through a sun?
