He was on
Superman following "One Year Later." He was so late on the book that what would have been his first story arc, "Camelot Falls," was delayed to hell and back and needed copious fill-in stories to make up the difference. By the time "Camelot Falls" finally ended, Renato Guedes -- who had been covering for both Pacheco and Adam Kubert on the Superman books -- was hired to take over full-time.
I can fault DC and Marvel for a lot of things, especially in the last two years. But not giving a high-profile monthly book to an artist who struggles with deadlines? That's one decision of theirs I'm in complete agreement with.
