Yes that is exactly right. I think all the ARH Olympian Gods will be depicted with at least one of their traditional symbols to make them more recognizable..Such As Ares' bloody spear and vultures, Hera's peacock, Zeus' oak and thunderbolts, etc..Much like the ancient Greek statues that depicted these Gods.

I think you mean that Celopatra felt hollow? A lot of the newer Sideshow statues are hollow as well. Every "high end" statue company pretty much uses the same type of materials and techniques to produce their statues. Though some smaller companies use sub par Styrofoam
Weight and hardness
Yes, polystone and resin are both plastic composits, but polystone is way more dence, almost having the weight and feel of stone (hence the name). Resin is way lighter and softer. It, of course, depends on how you make the resin, some is more brittle or soft than others.

Yes, SS makes a few of their statues hollow, mostly the large ones. But my female PFs feel solid. I don't really consider ARH high end yet, just my opinion. Arahom has been around for a while doing his thing, but the company itself is pretty new to the scene. When I think high end, I think about Sideshow and Bowen. Sideshow doesn't make their pieces even close to as thin as ARH. And no, you don't have to do science experiments to notice this. My Cleopatra actually arrived in pieces when I originally got her. So, I could tell she was hollow and thin to begin with.

What about Athena? This is the one statue that I am really considering purchasing? Is she solid? Has there been any major breakages or damages on her? Anyone bought her yet?

I have Athena. She is solid as far as I can tell. I own quite a few ARH statues and the only one that I have that has hollow parts is Cleopatra AP. I know Medusa has some hollow to her but she is still over 50 lbs so I think she is as solid as is realistically possible (but I don't own Medusa so I can't say). Thor and Athena are both solid and really heavy. I have been lucky on my ARH stuff and not had breakage issues.

I own a few ARH statues and Sideshow statues and I see no significant disparity whatsoever between them. ARH statues easily match and actually rival quite a few of Sideshow pieces in terms of creativity, quality of paint, quality of the sculpture, elegance, aesthetics, etc..

I own Athena (which is overall my favorite ARH piece so far) she's VERY heavy, and quite sturdy. Pictures simply cannot convey how big and extraordinarily beautiful this piece actually is.

Unfortunately for you, she's sold out from ARH and Sideshow's website but you can get on the waitlist or a few online retailers might still have her...good luck

I agree 100%. If I had the money I would get the Medusa, but since she is so expensive I have to pass with other SS statues coming out in the next couple of months.

I am going to have to order Athena from an online retailer like you said. I know a couple that have her in stock now. I better decide before she's gone!

For those of you who are avid collectors of female statues (pay attention dechirico7), Queen of Vampires is shaping up as one of the sexiest lady statues ever produced..Here's a sneak of her torso

Nothing more at the moment sorry..I'm dying to see the full painted reveal myself...She will have cast off clothing so you will have the option of displaying her fully nude

Here's a 30 minute video of Arahom presenting the Barbarian and the Valkyrie which will be fully revealed at ComiCon this summer. Both look jaw droppingly awesome btw! What do you think?
