Yeah, when we have kids, life will totally revolve around them. I'm more active socially than my wife is, lately, so basically that means neither of us are "as active" as we were. Going stag to "couples events" sucks if people know you're married. You can still have a great time, but the awkwardness is there, nonetheless. That's when friends who are single come in handy (with their Xbox 360's and their rock 'n roll..).

Hey Ryan....
We're not planning on having children. It was one of the main reasons as to why we went that "to that next level." We both feel the same way about having children and have decided not to.

that and I probably wouldn't be able to buy any more statues...
when I presented that to my lady, she was like,....."so..!"..
Then I said we'd also have to cut down on buying her shoes,.....snd then she was like, "HELL no!!!"

I think she has like 125-135 pairs of shoes at this point. Maybe on the low end.....closer to 120-125...??
A lot, though,....and her birthday was just last week and she got like two more pairs...
...and all I was able to do was pre-order the Mimic bust..
sheesh.

Fortunately, I didn't start collecting until we already had our kids. And they have never broken one, yet. Now the cleaning lady...................that's a different story. She's broken 3 of them.

DAMN....!! I thought my wife had a lot with 5 pairs (that's my guess). But she did buy a pair of boots when she was in Europe 3 weeks ago. I wouldn't have found out about it, if the credit card company hadn't called, wanting to know if the charges were good. Now I have a reason to buy more statues.
