Based on the pics, the paint app on the headsculpt destroys the 1/4 scale SS statue.

I really want to stop collecting 1/6 scale ,but what I like about HT is what you see in the prototype is 95% what you get with the production piece.
Not like most of the companies in the 1/4 scale market what you see in prototype is 60% what you will get later if its full sculpt and less than 40% if its mix media

I dont know about that in this case. I think it looks great but his head looks like Antonio Sabato Jr and the figure over all looks a little too "dolly" to me.
I was waiting for this reveal before deciding as I am typically a bigger fan of HT's when it comes to movie stuff. TBH I am leaning towards the SSC PF now for a MoS piece.

I'm sorta let down by this...I was really expecting more than just the figure/base.
No accessories to simulate flight/hovering. Sorta just a bare bones release.
also looks like (in some of the angles) that the back of his head may separate from the front of his head...I see a visible seam but maybe this is just in the proto?? I don't understand why that line is there if there is no PERS on this figure
I think I'm going to pass on this one and hope we get a larger release of the figure down the line

Wow, I think it looks freakin awesome. Although the cape is clearly too bright a red compared to the footage we've seen.
Now I just wish they would go back and give us a proper Routh Superman.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I agree. The HT portrait looks exactly like Cavill. The SS PF is shamed by it, IMO. Not that the SS one is terrible, but it's the difference between seeing a resemblance and thinking "how did they do that?"
