The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

nice article. I wish I had dived in instead of taking the measured approach I did when I think about the prices of many pieces when I started collecting art… but that is just not in my nature. Good stuff as usual.

Took me many years to dive in-14 if I'm counting correctly. Commissions and the rare published piece were something I would buy once a year at SDCC starting in the early 90s. Less of a hobby at that point and more of souvenir to remember the show by. That didn't change until 2005.

Another great report. I was really surprised by the final prices on the Tim Sale pieces. I didn't think the Jack Murdock page would break $700.00

Thanks Ken! Sale's OA prices may continue firming up, partly due to increased interest arising from fresh supply coming to market.

That Jack Murdock price seemed a bit high initially, but the more I looked at it the more I appreciated its worth!

great article, surprised those Bagley pages went that cheap. And that Buscema Hulk page was just a bit overpriced, hoping that trend does not continue.

Thanks Steve, yeah rising Sal B Hulk prices would definitely affect a few folks here

Found out a buddy of mine picked up the cheap Bagley ASM pages; needless to say he's quite pleased with them!
