(and in my opinion any comics geared towards kids that kids cannot afford is a wasted effort. $2.99 is too much. Someone needs to bring back $0.99 comics on the old paper!)

I agree - if these are truly for kids, price them for kids. Archie Comics has been doing it for years, and they seem to be doing fine.

I love to seeing him in the movie Cameo's and writing an online blog, or doing a podcast from a sunny beach on an island somewhere. Obviously he is one of the architects of the Marvel Universe, but that time is over and he embarrasses his legacy by attaching his name to so many things that are not good quality ventures. Plus he does not have much time left in this realm....time to wind it down a bit dont you think?
In terms of doing anything "for children" or to "keep the industry alive" the Fuzz Posse is really not going to be effective. The big two need to step up and launch a line of comics that are affordable to kids that contain characters that are heavy hitters.
Any kid going to school excited tot ell his friends about a copy of the Fuzz Posse that his Grandpa bought him over the weekend is more likely in for an ass whoopin' than anything else!
