Great another franchise this guy can ruin. I like the idea but I hate Anderson. I personally think he does a horrible job of turning the subject matter into film. Just look at AVP, MK2, REseries. And to think he's married to Milla Jovovich(sp?) ugh.

AVP was ok. Resident evil man....and Mortal Kombat I was and prolly the best Video Game to like action movie to date.

but, man he just better do this goOd!

Oh yea have you folks hear thenews about the Resident Evil movie being remade! like the actuall original first game with the mansion and such!

While MK was good, MK2 & AVP sucked! Too bad too...Castlevania is one of the greatest games of all time and deserves great treatment. I'm also afraid too many people will have a sour taste in their mouths after Van Helsing and not see it. I'm still holding out hope for the Belmonts!

you can read that info at IGN and it also has been talked about how he had the right untill it was time to make a movie and now he feels the time is coming.

and he the creator of the game mentiones that the way to movie will be like a game so think of it as a metal gear solid 5, t hats how he will treat the movie as.

juts like the upcomin Halo movie, the whole script and direction is made from the creators of the game.
