Image Comics

What do you think about Image Comics ? Do you agree, it is the future of American Comics ? What do you follow from Image ?

I got and still follow as collected editions:

Invincible
Spawn
Spawn The Dark Ages
Savage Dragon (this is an exception, i used to follow Savage Dragon as Floppies back in the day)
The Darkness
Witchblade
Artifacts
Aphrodit IX
Paper Girls
Deadly Class
Low
Criminal
Rat Queens
Nailbiter
Southern Bastards
Elephant Man
Pax Romana
Walking Dead
Ice Cream Man
Wicked or Divine
Lazarus

Not much but slowly growing. I plan to get Saga by Brain K. Voughan soon as well.

I'll read an Image comic occasionally, Dark Horse would be my only current company or Allegiance Arts and Entertainment.

I love Image comics... they're one of the biggest reasons I started and continued to read comics. I will almost always try a new TPB from them, especially since they often give the first collected edition a nice entry price of $10.

I've read and collected most of the stuff from your list, especially completed titles like Invincible and Walking Dead. Off the top of my head, the main titles I keep up with are Sunstone, Saga, and Rat Queens. I wasn't able to follow the floppies of Junk Rabbit, but I will get the TPB for sure.

Why ? Well, i heard Saga is really good and Brain K. Voughan is one of my favorite comic book writers because of Y The Last Man, but Why just Saga ? Why don't you try Paper Girls which is also written by Brain K. Voughan. Budget issues ?

I used to follow Walking dead as trades long time ago. Even before the tv show. I plan to get it as Omnibuses from the begining. Sunstone looks amazing, i love Stjepan Sejic's art, but i missed the deluxe editions, waiting for reprints. Junk Rabbit looks interesting, if it gets a deluxe, i will probably get it.
