Dr. Strange 8/10 Thought it was another good Marvel introduction movie. My 15 year old thought it was a little slow at times but origin movies seem to be that way sometimes since they have to set up so much. Benedict was a great pic to play Stephen Strange. Trippy movie sometimes.

Surprise to me like ant man. Cumberpatch plays the Adam strange roll perfect IMO. Special effects were pretty good. Saw it in 3D and not the typical things thrown at the screen stuff.

I think you saw a different movie than I did

I had planned to see this, but then read that most critics agree with you about it being not so great.

The Handmaiden (2016) - A woman is hired as a handmaiden to a Japanese heiress, but secretly she is involved in a plot to defraud her.
Call the authorities because this movie is on FIRE. 10/10

I now need to this see this because of your review. I'm cracking up and reading your last line with all the passion of a serious queen.
And I mean queen in the most fabulous sense!

It really is hot. Even when it goes overboard (the sex scenes in particular), I think it works within the overall style of the film.

Dr. Strange 7.5/10 Amazing visuals, though it absolutely induces sensory overload and even nausea the odd time. 110% Marvel formula, though with such a bizarre premise it may have been for the best. Tilda Swinton was by far my favourite part of the film
