Joker 5/10. Didn't enjoy it at all. After seeing this I can't believe so many people are giving this movie such high praise.

I thought I would too. The acting was off the charts but I wasn't into it at all.

Dismember the Alamo 8 hour movie marathon 1st time experience and it was awesome.

Movie 1: The Abominable Dr. Phibes 9/10
Movie 2: Centipede Horror ?/10 what a bizarre movie. At one point, there were 5 chicken skeleton ghosts and that wasn't even the most bonkers scene
Movie 3: Rabid 7/10 Doesn't hold up the best
Movie 4: Phantasm remastered version 10/10

The Abominable Snowman Of The Himalayas (1957) 8/10

I love this movie. It's a hard one to catch on tv but you can find it on TCM or, I just caught it on FXM. A Hammer' film that stands outside of their usual gothic horror Dracula/Wolfman/Mummy/Gorgon/etc... norms. It has a wonderful, eerie vibe that unfolds in the absolute desolation of dark snow-scapes, small ice-field cabins & in caves. Great cast, great story & freaky Yetis.

Not sure if you’re into Blu-rays or not but this one is finally getting a release on 12/10. I’m looking forward to it myself.

Hellboy - Sword of Storms (2006) 8/10
Hellboy - Blood and Iron (2007) 8/10
Both easy and enjoyable.

Scanners (1981) 6/10 hasn't aged well, I remember enjoying it much more when I first saw it.

The Light House (2019) - 7.5/10

I had read too many solid reviews to not see this one, also I really liked Director, Robert Egger's 1st movie, The Witch, so I took the wife & son to see this. It was pretty riviting & an absolute feast for the eyeballs with just so many beautiful b&w shots. A pretty unique & atmospheric Horror Movie with both actors in top form ( now have no douby the R. Patterson will be a great Batman). A couple of strong "WTF?" moments had the 3 of us looking at each other during the film. Some mighty weird stuff unfolds.
