Disregard, I answered my own question by going back a few pages. I wish the US version had metallic inks, that is really going to stand out.
Yup it's the UK exclusive with metallic inks an 125 ES. It also glows in the dark

I would be happy to be wrong on this issue. So the US version does have metallic ink, but no GID?

This seems beyond Die Hard or Lethal Weapon. But I can't make any further good guesses.
Usually Mondo hyped events are a let down. At least for me. There was the sci-fi one with Wrath of Khan. The Stout/Taylor gallery show. SDCC days for every year they go. The best to me was the Avengers week releases. But we'll see tomorrow.

Also, I'm starting to think Mondo won't release a good Friday the 13th print. They seem to hate putting the characters on these Friday the 13th prints or they can't get the rights to put the characters on them.

Avengers poster reveals were indeed fun.

LOTR would be a good timing now, but then there is the following mentioned on their blog's FAQ.

"Am I going to be out ALL NIGHT? Do I really have to watch the movie?

Doors are at 6PM, the event starts at 7PM. We will not accept late arrivals. No exceptions. You need to watch the movie in order to redeem your poster. We cannot tell you how long the film is, but you should allot the time of an average evening’s night out."

This leads me to believe they won't screen the trilogy for 9 hours.

That would be awesome!

I still think its going to Die Hard by Ken Taylor. I'll know for sure in less than 36 hours.

Maybe it will just be The Fellowship of the Ring, but then again the above comment could just be to throw people off.

A Ken Taylor Die Hard would be pretty epic. I think that film is the odds on favorite.

The EB forum thread about this event is confusing me. Is it Die Hard or not?

Some member is playing games by posting a photo of some commission print of Die Hard, while another member just posted his photo sitting in a limo holding a Die Hard VHS, there is also a stuffed black bear wearing a Mondo t-shirt in that limo.
