I was watching Hollywood Treasures last night (6/26) and they had someone auctioning off a lot of old movie one-sheets that were going for good coin. Some original Alfred Hitchcock one-sheets were going for around $5K.

The big sale was an original prop sword from Braveheart which sold for $45,000.

that is an original Metropolis from 1927? no wonder it's sky high. To get a mondo to that level, buy all of them and burn all but 1.

I wish they talked about the condition of those posters. But old original movie posters are expensive. Especially those Bond ones.

That guy who sold the Braveheart sword must feel bad considering what he sold it for...
