Keeping the spare head in the sewer is a brilliant idea. Not a fan of the movie but its an amazing maquette none the less.

This is one of my favourite scenes in the book. It was okay in the movie but when you read and narrate it yourself, it's so much creepier.
"And a balloon? I've got a red and green and yellow and blue."
I'd actually love for them to improve upon the base and release it as its own statue. And add the smell of the circus lol.
