I also remember Kevin Smith gushing over BvS and then hating it when it was released. I think most people's enthusiasm will tempered. I'm pretty excited.

I'm incredibly excited. I loved the way the characters were handled in Batman v Superman. The story could have been better, but the characters were spot on. I'm looking forward to seeing a Batman full of hope. Even with all of the Batman movies in the past, we've never really seen a Batman that enjoys himself.

Not true. Val Kilmer's Batman did crack a happy smile on Forever.

For the first time in forever I'm excited about every movie a company is putting out. I'm also excited at how different everything will be. It's not going to be the same formula over and over. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Justice League will all be very different movies. I just can't even express how excited I am for all of this.

All of these set reports I've been reading have me cautiously optimistic about the future of the DCEU. I have been looking forward to Suicide Squad, but now I can say I'm much more interested in the JL film. I'm also looking forward to the extended cut of BvS to see if I hopefully enjoy it more than the theatrical cut.
