I never cared for Superman, cause he is always pirouetting in space, like a ballerina.

Retardist,

It shows a lack of maturity on your part that you can't let people express their opinions. You get riled up so easily, and you feel the need to shut people down. By trying to shut people down, it makes you look weak. It shows you can't handle certain opinions, and you get upset too easily. It makes you look bad (weak, immature, too sensitive, etc.)

If you can't handle the comments then STOP COMING HERE. It's for your benefit. Do something better with your time, rather than trying to police these message boards. Is it worth your time to constantly check message boards for comments you don't like? Let's say shut down someone, will you have changed that person's opinion? Most likely NO. And guess what? There are going to be hundreds more opinions that you won't like. Are you going to try to shut down everyone else as well? What a waste of time on your part. Again, do something better with your time. Clear your life of message boards.

You stated that you contacted THREE moderators to close your account, but you keep coming back. You should just stop coming here.

Even though I've posted in this thread (emoticons and gifs), after you started posting, I requested that this thread be deleted since it's not productive to have people yelling at each other over hurt feelings. However, you've managed to turn this thread into one about you instead of about statues in general. This is not good for you from either a professional or business perspective. So yes, I agree with everyone who has kindly suggested that rather than waiting for a mod to Ban you, you can simply stop posting or even visiting online forums altogether.

To be honest when I criticize a statue I never really think about the sculptor, it's mostly the art director for the company and the factory that I consider are mainly at fault... If it's a horrible pose it's the art directors fault, if it's poorly painted or engineered it's the factories fault. I would say the majority of SS statues are sculpted nicely but poor paint applications can make them look awful.

I also wouldn't really judge a statue from 8+ years ago as sculpting techniques and technology has come a long way since then...

This part crossed my mind as well, but it's not relevant in statues that would belong here; these would be horrible even upon release.

This part should mainly apply when comparing new releases vs old, the amount of detail and polish will probably be better on the new piece, but there are cases when the old piece will still trump the new one despite the evolution.

Afterall that is where the true success lies, creating a piece that stands the test of time, not one that becomes obsolete in 5 years.
