I just read this on the He-Man.org. site.
We know many of you have high hopes about there being a new MOTU movie.
And from time to time, some fans send us info they've found online about release dates, actors, etc that they think we've either forgotten to post, don't know about, etc.
We hate to bring bad news, but please note that much of what you read online are simply rumors that fan news sites post from fan info or gather from Internet Movie Database.com.
An important thing for you to note is that IMDB.com is not an official database. The vast majority of information posted on that site comes from fans just like you.
What you see posted about the MOTU movie on IMDB.com is almost entirely rumor based.
As it stands, there is no movement on the MOTU movie. It will not be out in 2006, it has not been assigned a budget and there is no cast.
We have contacts at both Mattel and the production company for the movie. Because of this, when there is official news, we will be sure to post it.
Until then, everything you read online should be taken with a grain of salt. Especially if you find it on IMDB.com.

But keep those fingers crossed! Hopefully a new movie will happen one day in the future.

I always hated how the Dolph Lundgren one took place mostly on Earth.
I did like Frank Langella as Skeletor and Meg Foster as Evil-Lyn though.
Hated the way Teela look. And don't get me started on Gwildor. lol
But I still get a kick out of a young looking Courteney Cox (before her Scream and Friends days) and a Lt. Tom Paris of Voyager.
