The display of all three of them along with all three 1/2 scale from Infinity is going to be insane. I wish the original TV series would get this much love from high end figures these days, but all the stuff coming out seems to be based on Rebuild

I'm going to try to sit through the Rebuild films again to see if I can force myself to like them, but my instincts flare up and tell me I'm watching a once great series dragged through the mud every time...

I'm always shocked when people are excited for Mari merch to be honest.

Evangelion is one of my favorite things on the planet. Unit 01 is my 'grail' piece. I hate that word and have never used it before, but I never thought I would get a large statue of it.

I didn't click on this thread to sh!t on it, but I see 'Evangelion' and will always be interested. Those who like it, great, but to me, Rebuild is awful. It has 0% of what made the series great. I wouldn't force yourself to watch it again. Your opinion is legitimate. Plenty of people don't like it.

Rebuild is the superior Evangelion timeline. At least it has a satisfying conclusion and airship fights.

If you want an actual good timeline that still respects Evangelion as an IP, read Anima. Also End of Evangelion's conclusion is satisfying enough. Much better than the nonsense ending in Rebuild and the manga.

The Rebuild ending was both terrible and boring.
