Good to see Cap has it in him. But most fiction treats vampires as monsters, not really humans. Plus, they're monsters that already died once. So I'd think the moral toll of killing a Vampire is minimal.
Cutting down human foes, like a Punisher or a Wolverine, is different.
Side note: This is why Cap is such a compelling character to read. He has his own sense of right and wrong which he follows with conviction, but they don't always line up with the conventional right or wrong. You can't predict that Cap would do something just because that's what a moral/righteous person would do. This is what made Civil War 1 such a fascinating story to me.
