EFX - Studio scale Imperial Star Destroyer

Well this is quite something. I'll never be able to afford it, but I sure do look forward to seeing it....

It's based on ANH and is 47.5" long!

Also, just realised this was shown quite a long time ago, apologies if there is already an existing thread for it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Don't worry about not being able to afford it, because more than likely you will never see one either. Lol

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

There are so many better options out there than this. Get a professional modeller to make you one and you'll get a cheaper and more accurate piece.

Well that may be true. I'm still hoping that De Agostini will release a Star Destroyer in kit form similar to their Falcon.

I really should start on my Zvezda version soon. It'll be good practice at least. I've never taken on a lighting project so I'll be learning as I go but it'd be a shame not to light an large scale SD.

I finally finished my Deag Falcon but am skipping the Xwing because of three reasons. First off it’s way to expensive for what you get, second it doesn’t have near the details of the Falcon and from what I’m seeing it looks like a large toy and lastly they are a horrid company to deal with. My two year subscription took well over THREE years to receive.

I’ve got my Zvesda destroyer built now it just needs paint.
