well Joe, if you were into collecting and purchasing kauji model kits along with funding the build up you would totally understand and more than likely agree with me.

let me put it this way. i just recently purchased a Godzilla 2000 Yasushi Nirasawa illustration Concept - EVOLUTION model kit solid resin cast that costs about 450usd not including shipping. and its only 35cm tall, a little over 13". and its not built or painted and does not come with a base.
so if you compare this with what i just mentioned these are well worth the price IMO.

plus i think what most are not realizing there is a HUGE kaiju fan base. so these should appeal to them like the do to me price wise.

Even if i wanted to grab this (and at that price I think I'd pass) I can't see starting another line. Especially with Sideshow's recent track record of just abandoning anything that isn't Marvel/DC/Star Wars.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

There is a contest set up to win the set of 4 Pacific Rim Statues signed by Del Toro . . . so there will be at least 4 made . . .

ONE (1) winner who enters before the cut-off time will walk away with a a full set of Pacific Rim Statues, including the Gipsy Danger Statue, Striker Eureka Statue, Knifehead Statue, and a yet to be announced mystery statue!

Perhaps that is 3 more days of Sideshow announcements. Better get them out before the movie hoopla dies down. This may be a good movie but IMO I doubt it will have the staying power of many other name-brand blockbusters.
