RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD busts from RAS

We are calling this line Stout's Dirty Dozen for obvious reasons. The busts will be based off William Stout's concept art for the cult film, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. I know some of the actors that were in the film and we are going to try and get them involved with this too. The sculpting is being handled by Mark Robinson who was personally chosen by Stout for this project. Mark is no stranger to the SFX world and has done a ton of work through Monsters In Motion for the one of a kind collector. The first two pieces in the line are Half Corpse and Tarman. We'll be posting some work in progress shots within a few days. Gee...I hope Zombies are still in vogue.

This is a promotional flyer for the line and a couple of Stout design sketches for the busts. We have opted to simplify the bases differently from the design so as not to distract the eyes from the characters themselves. You'll see in a few. Hope you enjoy. Oh and don't eat lunch right after viewing...

LOL bigtime!

Jewel Shepard is a pal. I'm hoping to get a photo op of her holding the busts up near her own.

I'm in! I can't wait to buy these busts! Return of the Living Dead is one of my all-time favorite movies. There is no telling how many times I've seen it.

I'm totally down for all of 'em. Can't wait. I know I'm going to parent jail but my 6 and 9 year olds even love this movie (we watch it when mom's away).
Question - I don't recognize all the sketch characters; Reb, Boggy, Beardo..? Were they all in the movie or just made up as representatives of the zombie-crowd?

You can find each one of them in the film although they are not ALL prominent. William just felt that these all brought something different to the table visually. To be honest they all just brought BRAINS to the table. :>D

Love the movie but just not a fan of busts personally, though the designs for these do look great. I'd love to one day see a Tarman statue though...or a statue of Trash for that matter. Those I'd buy instantly.
