Sideshow factory
Came accross this. A few years old, but was always curious what SS warehouse looked like. 600 orders a day seems pretty good. Wonder if its more or less today.

Christ! if they were turning over $20-$30million back in 2007 God only knows what it is now! and you have to fight to get a replacement/refund!
had to laugh at this:

Sideshow is a company that is very disciplined about not overproducing the products that it makes, nor expanding the edition size to a point of saturation

shame they didn't stick to those morals, greed must have took over. Too many people on too much money no doubt.

This is also funny :

It's the first company that I found that actually treats their customers like they mean something," he said.

It was true in 2007, that's for sure, but Sideshow has changed so much in the last 5 years ... unbelievable ...

"Ninety-five percent of what we do are low-run, limited editions"
"If it is determined a particular figure should be an edition size of 1,000, only 1,000 numbers will be produced."
"We're comfortable with that process, because we're looking to increase the value of these products through their scarcity"
"Sideshow is a company that is very disciplined about not overproducing the products that it makes, nor expanding the edition size to a point of saturation"
"It's the first company that I found that actually treats their customers like they mean something"
Oh how times have changed.

That was an interesting read. Goes to show how time changes most things. Now they don't have the amount of time to do what they set out to do initially. Going from one project to the next takes it's toll.

We can contract everything out to cheap foreign labor, increase the ES and raise the price. What is the worst that could happen?
