Me to !
So nice to hear young kids (not sure her age) really appreciate great classic music !

I have a feeling you are the one where she first heard these bands

All my metal head friends cannot understand how I like the Mama's and the Papas, but I seriously get goosebumps when I hear both California Dreaming, and Monday Monday

She just turned 21 on May 19th.

Guilty as charged.

Good music is good music, no one genre has a monopoly on quality. You'll find everything from classical, to ACDC, to pop, to punk, to high energy Euro in my collection. I don't understand people that only listen to one style of music.

But there's nothing like classic rock!! Usually I'll pop in Pearl, Rumors or Tapestry while I'm painting.

Lou have you ever listened to Jeff Wayne's Musical Interpretation of The War of the Worlds?

Exactly right Jesse. Good music is good music. But I believe the music of today will never compare to music from the 6-/70's etc
Who is going to remember Black eyed peas or pink etc in 30/40 years time like we remember elvis and the beatles and jimi hendrix

Ves ... give this a listen!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8JLqsbK5V0

This is my FAVORITE music of all time, Jeff Wayne is BRILLIANT, if you keep going on the videos, Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues (Knights in White Satin) sings the reporters thoughts ... he comes in about 6 minutes into this video.
