$500 for a somewhat boring pose with no switch outs..... I've never seen the comic variant so it's probably why it doesn't resonate with me very well.. I'm just not a hardcore Iron Man fan, if I was this would probably be very tempting

This is the pose I'd like to see the MK2 in. I like this one too.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the "comic variant". This statue is based on a Hajime Sorayama painting.

Just repeating the description GG was giving the statue on their website...

I see what you mean. I guess I'm too lazy to read descriptions.
Marvel should do a one shot with the Soryama Iron Man fighting with the an invasion of Sorayama Gynoids.

Im leaning towards the price point being the way it is, that your guaranteed a superior quality paint application, compared to sideshows.

The more I look at this piece the more I like it. It's pretty badass! I'm not an Iron Man junkie though and don't see myself buying more than one 1:4 scale IM piece so I'll be sticking with the XM Iron Man MK VII for my collection.
As far as switch-outs go, who cares?!? This piece doesn't really need them as far as I'm concerned. Pose is fine too. Pretty similar to the XM MK XLII yet I'd take this over that any day of the week.
