Exactly. Although, I do wish BD would reach an agreement with Marvel already. If Kotobukiya wasn't around I'm pretty sure I would've been done collecting 1/6th scale statues or even collecting in general.

Sorry for non-Koto related thread. Just expanding a little more to crankyjammies response.

I know Wikipedia can't be trusted for reliability, etc.

It stated on the website that Marvel has approved their 'Phase IV' so BD can produce their statues.

What i did read and find interesting was this section.

The Marvel license periods were broken up into "phases," where a new phase was started upon confirmation of renewal of the license. A Phase IV has recently been confirmed by Bowen Designs.

However what i like to ask 'Gonk' is does your company's license with Marvel permit you to give your sculptor/designer free rein over all aspects of the character sculpt?

As that what was also stated on the Wiki in regards to BD.

I have a feeling there won't be any news until maybe early next year? I feel like their announcements of Rogue and Carnage are still pretty fresh. Just a feeling though. An earlier announcement would always be welcomed.

I agree with Cranky. It will be a while before any new statues are announced, and the announcement will probably be tied to a convention. Right now we have Brown Wolverine, Rogue, and Carnage to look forward to!
