eventhough i have 2 sabretooth bowens...just one released by Mr. Sosa n koto is a instant buy for me...

Make it! I have now changed my mind. I think a new sculpt would be better. Sosa does great work and I'm sure he could knock it out.

Kinda feel like sabertooth isn't getting much love from the statue community here? But, I guess everyone has their own personal favorites.

Thanks for starting this thread skully. I'm surprised crankyjammies hasn't commented he wanted a sabertooth too, I hope we do well enough in this campaign to get kotobukiya and Ericks attention.

How did u know that? Did eric or koto confirm they wont release the old sculpt if they ever do sabretooth?

I think what crankyjammies is trying to say is that the released a brown wolverine, rogue, and Sabertooth around the same time. Since then they were canceled or re sculpted, that's why they made a new rogue and brown wolverine. I guess it would be safe to assume that if koto did release a Sabertooth it would be a new sculpt. I hope that helps.

I love the newer Bowen versions so selfishly I'm not as enthusiastic about getting Sabretooth (well, plus I'd rather have an Apocalypse). What's crazy is that I didn't like any of the Bowen versions at first, but when I took more notice to them they are really well detailed and sculpted by Mark Newman.
However, I did vote for a new sculpt modern version if one were to get produced. While the original is great, Erick is much more polished at this point in his career and I feel confident he'd upgrade it.

I feel EXACTLY like you, Hellsbells. Erick's Sabretooth would look all manner of awesome, but I am pretty happy with the Bowen version as well. Makes me long MORE for a character like Storm who hasn't been done proper justice yet.
