I was going to say...Hardy's a good actor, but this role looks like crap. Venom's going to get annoying pretty quick with that voice and dialogue. I kind of want to see it for the man vs. monster aspect, but I think this is a 'see it at the discount theater' movie at best.

This trailer was BAD. It made me NOT want to see the movie. At least the first trailer was intriguing.

Hardy's voice, that dialog, that CG (over-reliance on shooting out symbiote tentacles)...oh my.
This looks so lame and corny that it just might be entertaining...
Also interested to find out why the answer to the world's problems is a human-symbiote hybrid.

i watched it again just to see if i was being too harsh... i wasnt
it looks like a pre-the dark knight / iron man movie, before the renaissance when audiences and studios started taking these movies seriously
