Well, considering it's just a 3D render, would they have had the shoulder seams on a render? Can we take this as a hint that they're going to cast it as one piece?

i wouldnt be too worried about the shoulder seams, the only reason they were visible at TCC was probably because it was just a prototype - not uncommon for them to have visible seams

Kelvin also mentioned on FB that the torso has been "improved" in this rendering.

No, they wouldn't have the shoulder seams on a render.

...I have a feeling the shoulder seams won't be there on the final prod piece. For packaging purposes, it would make more sense to have the seam at the waist.

I realize this is a question that can't be answered directly, but I'm curious as to what others think. Especially those that have a history of collecting P1 pieces (I only have 1).

Based on Supes going back into the shop for a tune-up, and the couple of sneek peaks we've seen from P1, when do you guys guess he'll be going up for PO? I have no doubt it will be 2018, just curious if we're talking March or July? Thoughts?

Tough to tell. The Wonder Woman 1:2 scale is the only one I'm familiar with going back for that much tweaking, but she was already up for PO and just ended up getting delayed for months (Kelvin Loke confirmed this was the reason on the Facebook group, whereas I suspect many delays are more shipping schedule based.)

Obviously P1 is now comfortable with or is being forced to put pieces up with much more distant release dates, perhaps to avoid cancellations due to delays, so the tweaks aren't an indicator Superman's PO will be delayed any. The Arkham Knight Joker and Justice League Batman both went up with just a drawing of the Scarface exclusive and a digital rendering of the unmasked Affleck head. They could easily put Supes up for PO with a Q4 2019 release date and just state in the description "will include 3rd portrait and/or sculpted cape" so long as they were sure it was achievable.

I actually predict this will be the case, as P1 has so many pieces in the pipeline, including companion Hush statues, that really add to their already ridiculous backlog if pushed back too far.

Collecting has become like a statue futures game. Like predicting what your tastes will be 2 years from now and what the competition will be like. Now I can see how Prime 1 can basically plan a new release every other week. I'm a huge Prime 1 fan but this got me nervous. Maybe we will be paying in Bitcoin or gold bars by then?

I was thinking it actually had more of a Joe Madureira look to it.
