Capcom to remake Resident Evil Remake

Oh Capcom, what has happened to you? It's just embarrassing at this point, like a washed up ex champion who doesn't know when to quit up and keeps getting knocked out. I guess they were asking too much for the franchise when they tried liquidating all their assets.

Hey, this game is an absolute classic. I'm getting this day one.
Although I'll admit, at this point in the catalog, including a remastered RE 2 would have been better and more appealing to more people.

i bet this a test of the waters to see if people want the old style back rather then call of resident evil as it is now.

i loved the first one and if its slow zombies and scary as hell ill get it. it could almost make me get a PS4 too.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I only want to buy it for the achievements. Would give me a reason to play it again. This game is awesome. I can see one of the achievements is to get all of the endings :/

Is it really that clever to put an "r" after the "C" in Capcom?

Kinda waste of time if you ask me...they re-made this when GameCube came out...granted that was long ago, but I think most people who played this game in when it first came out(like me) will prob pass on this. I have the original and the GameCube remakes so to have a 3rd just a waste. Only way I buy it if it's like a Halo package give me 1-4 on one disc and I'm in.

That's probably the way they should have tackled this.

Yes, especially after their performance and decision making the last several years. Crap is a pretty accurate word to describe them.

They did that with the Anthology version of RE6, it included games 1-6.

The first game is one of the best games ever released on any system and was extremely influential. I will be very interested to hear how this plays when released.

Wow this is great news.

This sound more like a HD port than a remake thought. Doesn't make sense to remake something that already remade. HD, audio, and other will be upgraded.

If this comes out for say $20 then it a day one purchase for me.

The gamecube version only came out in 2002 so it's not that old...unless you're going back to the sega saturn/playstation original.
