Capcom to remake Resident Evil Remake

A remake of a remake??? It seems like Capcom is trying to get some extra cash by milking the RE franchise after they dropped the ball with RE6.

I was hoping to get a RE7 that has the same concept as the first 3 RE's and Code Veronica (and zero). I used to be a huge RE fan (have all the games on any platform + got a whole bunch of statues too) but lost interest after 6 (5 was 'ok', not great).

But seeing how I loved the GC remake of RE, I'll probably cave in, just to play it in HD.

It's pretty clear that Capcom is struggling and still trying to recover ever since RE creator left Capcom after RE4.

RE creator opened up his own studio and is about to release his first game "Evil Within" this October.
