Classic X-Force Uniforms
With the Blue and Gold teams nearly complete - Jubilee and Brown Wolvie remain, maaaybe Forge - the 90's mutant team I want next is X-Force. Unlike the iconic costumes of Blue and Gold, the young hotshots of X-Force would change their wardrobes quite often, making it hard to settle on one "classic look".
I'm embarrassed to admit the amount of scouring I did to find the most popular uniforms of this extreme group. In fact, you all owe me for irreparably damaging my eyes by staring at the horror of Rob Liefeld art. Amazing how wrist bands turn to gloves from one panel to the next and pouches magically appear and disappear!
From what I can tell Issue #19 is a good costume milestone where many costumes were redesigned thanks to fashionista Boom Boom or Boomer. I'm looking at the 6 original members of X-Force - sorry to Rictor, Siryn and Sunspot - and I've left out Cable who's already had a couple statues made.
So which costumes would you like to represent Classic X-Force?

Contrary to popular belief, I like Liefield's art....Yes, stone me for saying that! I don't care....
It was unique, over the top and very representative of the early 90's comic art.

In case you thought I was joking, JPsarri... I wasn't. My eyes were literally throbbing! Not only from the caustic pencils and outrageous anatomy, but those Liefeld issues used the most unorthodox colors. Let's splash this page with magenta. And let's color these characters purple in front of a neon pink background.
That said, the 90's wouldn't have been as memorable without Rob Liefeld.

I just realized, technically speaking, that Domino before issue 19 was mostly Copycat. Ah well.

I'd go with pre issue 19. I've actually picked up some MB kits of these, only need a Cannonball and Boom Boom to complete the team. Wouldn't mind the Bowen treatment though.

Wow, I just saw some busts at the other forum done by Troy. I think those are the ones you're mentioning? Very nice work with X-Force and New Mutants. I forgot just how many New Mutants had recurring roles in X-Force.
