"for the kids"

so, I've been getting back into bowen statues lately. i had a bunch years and years ago, but got rid of them. now, my two boys (9 & 12) are beginning to appreciate how awesome they are. really a great excuse to keep buying. today, "for my sons upcoming birthday" i got him the Villafane Sabertooth to go with his Wolverine. already have the Apocalypse for bday too. woohoo!

That sounds nice...I wish I had kids to share my collection with. Happy Birthday!

Best birthday wishes too.

I got to rediscover my love for comics, conventions, and the hobby in general through my kids. It's awesome.
They have all sorts of superhero toys.

Very cool to have a built in excuse and buy stuff you all can enjoy!

My son was so into superheros but then something happened. I'm not sure if he overdosed or just grew out of them. He's only seven but he's all about sports now.
He still likes superheros and shares in the excitement when I get something new but sadly I don't think he'll ever be the comic geek that his dad is.
I took him to NYCC and he got an Adrian Peterson jersey!

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

That's my wife....other than that she is awesome! I am constantly changing the radio station.

My kids love this stuff so I consider myself pretty lucky.

If they enjoy real country like Cash and Nelson, then it is ok. The "country" coming out the past 20 years is more rock. I do enjoy Dwight though, he has the old twang.

Charles, can I be your long lost daughter, lol?
