I guess Molecule8 day's are numbered. Not paying sculptors, not to mention Lennon turning out average.

'Why the hell would he pay the sculptors? he ran off with at least 1 million of investor money. He's done, he got his money and he's stashed it at this point. I'm laughing at the idiots that were defending this scumbag.' - Johnn Doee (facebook)

I did find it odd that the pre order for Wonka went up without any images of how the figure looked.

The M8 site is still down (Molecule8.com is undergoing Maintenance)
I guess it's true, the owner did a runner, and took all the money!

If I remember well, the very talented sculptor K.A Kim had left Blitzway for Molecule 8. Hopefully she joins again the Blitzway crew.

I'm not so sure joined, as worked freelance for these companies. I think she has does work for Hot Toys also.

(i might be wrong) K.A Kim appears to work mostly at 1/6 scale. Sideshow could put her skills to use for their 1/4 pieces that required actor/actress likeness.

She did work for Hot Toys before turning over to Blitzway, for whom she esssentially did Marilyn and Rocky (1:4), Tyler Durden and the Ghostbusters (1:6).

I too hope she starts working for them again. It'd be no use if she worked for Sideshow, as their production when it comes to likenesses just sucks and it'd be such a waste. If anything I'd love for the other GREAT portrait artist (Trevor Grove) to join Blitzway. Or for Tweeterhead to get bigger and have Kim join them. Now that'd be a lineup made in heaven. Have them churn out film statues aplenty!

Oh my God, it's such a shame these will never see the light of day. They're perfection.
